Oscar Baldwin is an Oregon high school student. He has struggled with substance abuse throughout his high school career. He moved to Hood River after his Freshman year at Oregon City High School. Oscar has been to residential treatment twice in the last 12 months. Following his stay at Hazelden Betty Ford in Minnesota, he has been sober for almost nine months. He has been working with the Hood River Prevention Department and has recently founded the Young People of Hood River AA Meeting. Oscar is passionate about helping other young people cope with addiction and ultimately hopes to study social work and drug counseling.
